Laura & Doug's Engagement Party!

It may have taken place back in July, but that doesn't take away from how special this day was! My sister and her fiancé flew in from Toronto for the weekend so we could celebrate their engagement with family and friends. We had a wine and cheese theme which was perfect for a later-evening party, and the laughter went late into the night. What more can you ask for?

This is an incredibly special shoot, since it is my baby sister that is engaged!! We are seven years apart, so there is a part of me that will always feel like she is a little girl. And now here she is; engaged, starting an amazing career and settling in with the love of her life in Toronto. I am so happy that she has found a forever kind of love. Someone who supports her, makes her laugh and lets her be the beautiful person she is. And I am so honoured to have been able to capture a little bit of their love.
