Baby Jace

I had the privilege of spending a wonderful Saturday morning with this family. Bringing a brand new baby home, especially your first, can be so overwhelming. But these guys made it seem like they'd been doing it forever. They are so very in love with little Jace, and I felt so honoured to be able to capture just a little bit of that incredible love.

 

 

 

 

 

Halloween

Halloween was pretty magical this year now that both boys are old enough to really get it. It's kind of a funny holiday, really. We tell them all year not to go to strangers houses or to take food from a stranger, but this ONE night we encourage nervous children to take candy from complete strangers. Not weird at all! We went to Ghoul's Night Out at Heritage Park for the second year and it was just as amazing as last year. Such a great event with so many fun things to keep kids busy/entertained. Jillian: Boudoir

Boudoir is not something I've really thought of before, not because it doesn't interest me but because it just hasn't really come up! But then my beautiful friend mentioned she wanted to get some pictures done and I offered to give it a go! I love being pushed outside of my comfort zone creatively; it helps me grow and stretch as a photographer and there is something so amazing about finding the inner beauty of a woman. Not only is Jill kind, selfless and smart, but she is truly beautiful. Inside and out.
