The Russell Family

I met the Russell family on an amazing fall night that almost felt like summer again. One of the last ones, I think. They are the kind of people that make you feel at ease immediately. Like you are one of them. The kind of family that isn't afraid to be themselves; to laugh, and dance and share real parts of their life with you. Their two beautiful girls had such an amazing bond that was so beautiful to capture. I think this stage in childhood might be my favourite; the one where you are teetering on adolescence but still have that innocence of being a child.

Baby Jace

I had the privilege of spending a wonderful Saturday morning with this family. Bringing a brand new baby home, especially your first, can be so overwhelming. But these guys made it seem like they'd been doing it forever. They are so very in love with little Jace, and I felt so honoured to be able to capture just a little bit of that incredible love.
