The Messina Family



This little guy had just turned one the day before and was so much fun! We spent the evening at Big Hill Springs Park which is such a hidden gem in Calgary, and it was wonderful to get to know this lovely family a bit more.

 

Sullivan's 3rd Birthday



How is it even possible that our sweet baby boy is 3 years old?! I know it's so cliché, but time has flown by. When we asked what kind of birthday he wanted this year, he was very clear from the start that he wanted a rocket birthday. That, we can do.

 

The star background was a printable from http://caravanshoppe.com/. I made the rockets with wrapping paper tubes cut up and wrapping paper from Target. The happy birthday banner and star garland were from Etsy, and the silver stars and balloons were dollar store finds. My amazing parents made the rocket cake from an old kid's birthday cake recipe book that's almost as old as me. We just had family come as having a birthday so close to Christmas is chaotic enough. It was so nice to have a quiet birthday to start off his 3rd year. He is wild and hilarious and so loving and sweet, and we could not be luckier.

 

Halloween Party

I hosted a Halloween party for a bunch of my mom friends and their little ones. It was so much fun to get everyone together and have another excuse to wear their costumes!
