Christmas

Christmas has come and gone, and there's something so bittersweet about it. Bitter that we had to say goodbye to family and having daddy home every day and getting the loveliest break from every day obligations. But also so sweet that we had those things, and getting to watch the boys experience Christmas this year was beyond wonderful. There is nothing better than getting to watch the delight in their eyes as they experienced so many new things this year. We sledded and skated and baked (they mostly just licked the spoons), and as much as I love teeny tiny babies, it was sure nice to have two toddlers who could participate in all the fun. As we wrap up 2013 and start a new year, I am so excited to see what 2014 will hold. For our little family, for my business, for my marriage, and to see what new adventures we will take.

The R Family

Another wonderful shoot that included the grandparents (and uncle!). It was super chilly but we braved the cold and their little guy was such a trooper! It was so great to see this family again; I`m always so honoured when people have me capture their family through the years.

The S Family

This is my beautiful sister-in-law and her sweet family. It was freezing and windy but we had the quickest shoot on record and I think we got some good ones! I can't believe how grown up our nieces and nephews are getting, time flies by way too quickly!

Laura and Doug

This is my beautiful sister and her boyfriend. I am so lucky that I ended up with a sister that is also a best friend. She is not just beautiful on the outside; she is so incredibly giving, creative, passionate and would do anything for a friend. She is also the best auntie La La our boys could ever ask for. They have such a special connection with her.

We spent a few minutes at Joshua Tree capturing some images of these two.
